About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Product Development Manager to join our dynamic team. Based in China, you will play a pivotal role in the development of innovative products, working closely with local factories and liaising with the overseas head office to ensure a seamless transition from concept to manufacturing. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with expertise in printed materials, cardboard products, and ideally toys or games, to make a significant impact within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regularly visit and collaborate with factories in China to oversee product development activities.

• Coordinate with the overseas head office team to align on product specifications, timelines, and overall development goals.

• Ensure all factories meet the necessary compliance requirements and adhere to quality standards.

• Monitor the entire product lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final production, identifying and resolving potential challenges.

• Conduct quality control inspections and provide detailed feedback to continuously improve product standards.

• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in product development.

  
  

Qualifications and Experience:

• A minimum of 6 years’ experience in product development, specifically working with printed materials and cardboard products.

• Proven experience in the toy or game industry is highly desirable.

• Exceptional project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and to high standards.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise between factory teams and overseas colleagues.

• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and compliance requirements in China.

• Adaptability and cultural sensitivity when working in an international and fast-paced environment.

• MUST be fluent in English. The company communicates internally and externally in English language primarily.

Additional Requirements:

• The successful candidate must be willing and able to travel extensively within China to visit factories. Travel destinations will include regions such as Ningbo, Guangdong, and others as required to support product development.
