Expert Toy Recruiters: How We Work

We work with our clients in the Toy company to extract the true characteristics of the people they need to hire, we then go ahead and find qualified experienced applicants, and then we conduct screening interviews with all candidates before we put them forward.


The point is not to deliver an endless stream of candidates who will waste the time of busy Toy execs, as well wasting the time, energy and emotional investment of the candidates. The point is to put forward only qualified candidates.


On a recent project, we could only find one suitably qualified candidate, and so we put forward just that candidate, because we knew the others were a). Not going to get the job and b). Were not on spec with what the client requested.


The other major advantage we have is that unlike many Toy recruiters, we are Toy people ourselves. We have broad experience working across commercial functions, product development, Licensing, Sales, Marketing and more. So when we ask questions of candidates, we have the factual reference base to assess their feedback on the same level as our clients.
